Elora Danan fans rejoice: reunion show announced!

7 years isn’t that long a hiatus right? Although it seems to be the trendy new thing to get your band back together these days (ahem Thrice/Alexisonfire), it appeared all but confirmed that Perth alt-rock group Elora Danan had all moved on with their lives. It came with a much surprise then of late last year when the band announced their return from disbanding in 2010 and a subsequent reunion show planned for Amplifier Bar on the 28th of January – the show itself is sure to re-ignite the band’s almost cult-like Perth following.

While the band is keeping tight-lipped on the prospect of new material (fingers crossed) we can at least look forward to hearing songs from In The Room Up There – the bands’ first full-length feature album. At times indescribable, the bands’ sound was just as remarkable as it was unique. Full of energy, dynamic rhythm, and awash with bright, animated guitar leads, songs like ‘Door Up, Elevator’ and ‘We Can be More than This’ are bound to be welcomed back into Perth’s concert halls and bars.

With supports in Perth metalcore mainstays Finders, hardcore/alt rock trailblazers Old Devil, debutants Little Room and a beer garden performance by Shontay Snow (of Saviour fame), the show is set to be a cracker.

Tickets on door. For more information visit the Events Page on Facebook here
