The king of Shock Rock who bought you anthems like ‘Poison’, ‘School’s Out’ and ‘Feed My Frankenstein’ is returning Australia in October to mark the 40th anniversary of his first tour down under.
It would appear Perth holds a special place in Alice Cooper’s heart, first touring here in 1977, running 96FM’s infamous Rock radio show Nights With Alice Cooper, and touring Australia 11 times since. Now nearly 70, the rock icon is frequently touring while working on his 27th album this year.
“Our tour of Australia in October this year will be a major Rock ’n’ Roll event Down Under and leave all our fans with big smiles and wanting more!” Cooper has said. “I can’t wait to hit the road!” Alice Cooper will play Perth Arena on April 15, joined by former KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehly.
